MANCHESTER, England (AP) -Kolo Toure has been fined six weeks' wages by Manchester City over the failed dope test that led to the Ivory Coast defender's six-month suspension from all football.

City says "Kolo accepts the decision and he and the club now wish to draw a line under this matter and focus on the season ahead."

Toure has played five times since his suspension for taking what he said were his wife's diet pills ended Sept. 2.

He has made two substitute appearances for the leaders in the Premier League this season.
